The comment made in September 2012 about the above is interesting, unfortunately the sender did not include any means of pursuing the matter, hence the publication of their contribution.
Should the sender or any other party have more to say, their words will be very welcome.  It would for instance be interesting to know more about the wife of Richard Whittingham, for instance does this comment relate to Ethel Asquith or to someone else?

For the benefit of any Strutt family members who may see the Dodworth Chronicle - here is a picture of Benjamin Strutt taken from the internet - just who's grandfather he is eludes me - but from his appearance he certainly looks like a member of the Strutt family from Dodworth.
